The Lego Movie 2 is Here and Everything is Awesome!

Everything is awesome! Capturing the wit, creativity, and excitement of the original film, The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part opened this February in theaters around the globe. This time around, Emmet, Lucy, and the rest of the gang must go where no brick has gone before: into the oversized Duplo universe! Don't miss your chance to dress up in Lego costumes and accompany your favourite characters as they embark upon a perilous and hilarious journey.

The new story

Five years after the adventures depicted in the first Lego film, the community of Bricksburg faces a new threat. Duplo invaders from outer space are wreaking havoc and destruction all over the Lego town. Voiced by Chris Pratt, hero Emmet realises the only way to stop the invasion is to venture into the universe ruled by Queen Watervra Wa-Nabi. Portrayed to perfection by Tiffany Haddish, the queen has other plans in mind. She is intent on marrying Batman, voiced by Will Arnett. Who will prevail?

The Lego legacy

Invented in 1949 by Danish carpenter Ole Kirk Christiansen, Lego construction toys have entertained children, teens, and adults for decades. Today the plastic bricks have secured a permanent position in popular culture. From amusement parks and video games to television series and feature films, Lego has inspired fantastical creations, including a broad selection of Lego-related costumes. Whether dressed up as fast-talking Jay from the TV series Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu, or as heroic Clay from Nexo Knights, wearing a Lego costume is always fun!
