Wolverine costumes and accessories

Wolverine is everyone's favourite tough superhero! This Marvel Comics character first appeared in the last panel of the comic book The Incredible Hulk #180, with his first full appearance being in The Incredible Hulk #181 in November 1974. Wolverine was created by writer Len Wein and Marvel art director John Romita, Sr., and he later joined the revamped X-Men team. He has also starred in his own solo comic book series since 1988.

Perhaps the most famous incarnation of Wolverine is in the live action X-Men and Wolverine movies, portrayed by Australian actor Hugh Jackman. The first X-Men film was released in the year 2000, and the series has seen no less than six additional installments with many more in production. Wolverine is famous for being a brooding antihero, the type of which emerged in comics after the Vietnam War, and he was the inspiration for many other antiheroes throughout the 1980's.
